Stable CHO cell lines

Stable cell lines expressing recombinant proteins are generated by experienced scientists working on protein engineering, expression, and purification, and cell line development services for decades. Stable cell lines developed with our proprietary protein expression system with multiple selectable markers is very productive in expressing target proteins.

Stable cell line development for protein production using CHO cells:

CHO suspension clonal stable cell lines are generated by electroporation using proprietary mammalian expression vector system with multiple selectable markers to express single gene of interest.

Transfection into mammalian cells is followed by screening for cell lines permanently expressing specific genes through their incorporation into the cellular genome. The standard method for screening clones is ELISA. Additional fee will be charged for Western blot or cell-based assay of your interest. Our faster and more predictive screening techniques may significantly increase speed of stable cell line development while improving quality and uniformity.

Basic service of clonal stable cell line development for protein production includes:

a. Clone selection up to 24 clones;
b. Detailed characterization of the top clone during a 0.1 liter production run (viability, cell growth, and titer measurements);
c. Banking of 15 vials of the top clone (10 million cells per vial);
d. Backup vial storage for 6 months.

Deliverable:
a. 10 vials of the highest performing clone (10 million cells per vial);
b. All purified protein from 0.1 L production run;
c. Stable cell line development study report.

Timeline: 7-8 weeks.

Premium service of clonal stable cell line development for protein production includes basic service plus:
